Over the past several years, I’ve become a passionate Edmonton Oilers fan. I ride the emotional rollercoaster that comes with being a devoted supporter and often find myself using the same emotional regulation strategies I teach my clients just to stay grounded during the games.

Outside of the hockey world, I’m also deeply passionate about giving back to the community—especially the Sikh community. While there has been important progress in breaking the stigma around mental health and increasing support for minority groups, there is still much more work to be done. I care deeply about this issue and am always open to conversations about how I can best support minority communities in accessing the help they need.
